John 3:22-36

Jesus was the reason John's ministry existed. john was the witness to the fact that Jesus was the Messiah, come to save the world.

John's response to them must have been disconcerting for his response was to say that it was Jesus, and not John, who was the main event.

John 3:16-21

The verse john 3:16 is one almost all good Christian kids know by heart. It is the doctrinal "biggy" for all evangelicals. It is almost expected that if you just hear this verse, you will come running to accept Christ as your Savior. "For God so loved (you) the world..."

Can you read my mind? john 2:23-25

What would it be like to be able to read people's minds? My kids used to think, when they were little, that I could. How many of us fell for the idea that our mothers had eyes behind their heads, and could see or anticipate our every move? I often wondered if when I became a mother I would grow eyes in the back of my head....ugh!
