My Godly Place was started because we were so tired of the spam and offensive material on MySpace and the others. We did not feel that other Social Networks were appropriate for children let alone ourselves. The filth and trash they allow on MySpace alone is enough to Boycott it.

Let us take a moment to introduce ourselves, my name is Brent Daugherty and my wife is Tara Daugherty, we have 2 lovely children at home; Kassandra 13 and Doris 7. I have 4 other children away from home; Bobby 16, Derrick, 16, Dakota 14 and Keyla 13 (ages at the time I wrote this). All my kids are great kids and we love them with all our heart.

My wife and I attend Greencastle Christian Church in Greencastle, Indiana (all is welcome to join us at Chruch on Sunday mornings at 10:30am). My wife is in charge of the Baby Birth Ministry and she also volunteers for Wednesday night childcare. I am a Yard Spotter at a local Fashion Bug warehouse.

Our family loves the Lord, goes to Church every Sunday (we only miss when we absolutely have no other choice). My wife is currently a student at Ivy Tech working on a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Once she is out of school and working I will be going back to school myself for Programming. Once the kids are out of the house, the wife and I want to become Missionaries for a year or two, then we plan on opening a Troubled/Abused child ranch where we can share God's love and word with children who have been mistreated, abused, neglected and abandoned. All God's children are beautiful and worthy of our love and God's love.
